Benin Cult War - Two Mothers And A 25- Year Old Boy Killed

Monday evening, in the New Benin area of Benin City the Edo state capital, One mother was shot dead as gunmen suspected t
o be cultists could not find her son who happened to be their target.

They were said to have gone to the store belonging to the mother of their 25year- old target, but the woman, when asked about the whereabouts of her son, was said to have told them that she had not set her eyes on him for over two weeks.

The gunmen were said to have gone to the residence of the boy and killed him when they found him at home, went back to the mother's shop and shot her dead.

A solution to the cult clash, which is said to have claimed over 10lives in the past week is yet to be provided by the Police Command in the state.
