Germanwings Crash - Co -pilot Lubitz Pre-rehearsed On Previous Flight

Andreas Lubitz, co-pilot on the German Airbus A320, appears to have rehearsed the crash by entering crash settings on the aircraft's previous flight, said investigators on wednesday.
A preliminary report released by french investigators said Lubitz set the altitude dial of the aircraft to 100ft repeatedly while he was left alone in the cockpit by the captain for a bathroom break, while enroute barcelona from dusseldorf on March 24. French investigators at BEA announced that the flight landed normally in spain.

Reports on wednesday revealed that the jet was initially on a 273knots speed but was delibrately increased to 345knots while heading towards the mountainside.

Andreas Lubitz was awarded a U.S. pilot license in by The Federal Aviation Administration in 2010 despite concerns about his mental fitness.
