TWO GUNMEN SHOT DEAD OUTSIDE PROPHET MUHAMMAD ART DEPICTION CONTEST IN GARLAND, TEXAS

Two gunmen pulled up outside the Curtis Culwell Center at about 7pm(8pm eastern time) sunday night, where a contest for the best cartoon depiction of the prophet muhammad was taking place. They began shooting at a Garland independent school district security officer identified as 58-year -old Bruce Joiner. Both gunmen were killed by Garland police and the security who was rushed to a nearby hospital with an ankle injury has since been treated and released. The shooting happened shortly after a prize check of $10,000 was presented to the winner, Bosch Fawstin, according to the Daily Caller.
