President of the United States, Barack Obama sets new Twitter record with his new account, @POTUS.
Obama achieved million-follower status after setting up his new twitter handle in about 5 hours, which is a new record.
The previous record belonged to Robert Downey Jr., who did it in 23 hours, according to Guiness Record.
Obama, who already has his own personal account @BarackObama, will only use the @POTUS account till he vacates office.
